How every rental works

   ID verification

   Every renter verifies a government ID before their first pickup. Owners see a verified badge.

   Card preauthorization hold

   A temporary hold is placed on the renter's card at pickup — sized to the item — and released after a clean return.

   Pickup photos

   Owner and renter snap the item together at handoff, time-stamped in the app.

   Return photos

   Same angles at return. Any difference is easy to see and verify.

5. 5
   Verified damage

   If damage is verified from the photos, the renter is responsible, drawn first from the hold, then from the damage protection fee.

What can't be listed

Our photo check automatically blocks firearms and weapons, explicit content, drugs, alcohol, and other prohibited items. Photos that aren't rentable items (selfies, pets, screenshots) are turned back with an explanation.
